These limited edition Teal warrior mugs feature a red and teal floral design meant to evoke tranquility and growth. They are hand painted and sgraffitoed over a a wide bellied hour glass form. The clay body is a custom blend of durable stoneware with speckled inclusions that burn through the glaze providing a pleasing modern rustic aesthetic. The speciality handles are hand pulled, shaped, and painted in the likeness of an ovarian cancer awareness ribbon.
In partnership with GYNCA https://www.gynca.org, a non profit group based in Springfield mo, 20% of each purchase will go toward women who have fought and continue to fight ovarian cancer. This is a cause close to home as my mother Dani was diagnosed with clear cell ovarian cancer in 2023 and after a valiant and hard fought battle has been thankfully cancer free for a year now.
it is my hope that these mug don’t just bring awareness to an awful disease that too often ignored or diagnosed late stage but can bring warmth and comfort to those effected by it. Warriors and their supporters alike.
